2015 Nanowrimo progress: 12k words reached

I’d forgotten that from last year, but it motivates me to post snippets of my Nano every day, so I’ll try to do that when I stip writing for the day :)

Current count at 12104 words… I’m still late, but marginally less so than I was yesterday, so there’s that :P

2015 Nanowrimo challenge, Day 9

In theory I’m suposed to not work on Nano today and do uni stuff instead, but I’m still doing the @snarktheater challenge, at the very least.

Day 9: Do you have a writing playlist? Can you choose a few songs to share from it?

To be honest I was never able to fit specific songs to a specific chapter or book. I don’t know why.

The result is that I don’t have an Immortal Cup playlist so much as a generic writing one, which is made up of instrumental tracks, including the complete OSTs for Mad Max: Fury Road, How to train your Dragon and How to train your Dragon II. And some tracks from the COB movie soundrtracks because they were the best thing about that movie.

And sometimes, when I want to vary things a little or write a lighter scene, I go through the Fairytales tag on 8tracks, more specifically this mix, because I feel the musics are pretty well suited to Clary’s character when she’s not in panic.
