Odd writing hours

It is now 1am on the 3rd of February, and my SBB story has now reached about 3400 words ! I can already spot all the things I’ll have to add later on, but that’s okay, that’s what the second draft is for, and the faster I finish the first one, the faster I can get to that part of the story making process x)

 

I know it’s a little bit unreasonable to be writing at that time of the night, but I went to a party tonight (we wanted an 80’s music themed party, and we made one :D) and didn’t come home until a little past midnight, and since the coke I drank is going to keep me awake for a while yet, I figured I might as well do some writing rather than waste the day away!

 

Besides, as I mentioned, I like the idea of journaling once a day...and sure, this is technically not an entry for the 2^nd of February, but I haven’t slept yet, which means it isn’t tomorrow yet, which means it counts. Anyway, I’m going to go do another 30 minutes round (after a brief break) and then I’ll see if the caffeine has worn off enough for me to sleep x)

I slept five hours last night but I still managed to write a thousand words this morning! They're most likely garbage, but that's what the first draft is for, and when you've only slept five hours you take what you can get anyway so.
Yay me :P

It was a real weekend

 By which I mean I didn't so anything work related today either!

I slept from five ish to ten, wrote about 1k, and proceeded to watch season 1 of Black Sails again (currently on episode 4). I'm gonna make myself dinner soon, then go to sleep early, and then work some tomorrow.

It's still doing job things on my free time, but at least I've had a full two days break :D
