Right, I almost forgot!

 Today was the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year (aka Chinese New Year for the westerners), which means most of our students were absent (my highest number in class was eight out of twenty two, my lowest was when I had one student in the evening) even though the Lunar New Year isn't traditionally celebrated in Cambodia...it's just as good an excuse as any to party and go back to their home provinces x)
On the whole I'd prefer it if the whole thing were left off the calendar but we can't because class time, and so I spent another day doing nothing but play games and watch movies which, well. The games are good practice for speaking french, but the movies are honestly half 'I have no idea what else to do' excuses, on top of having students listen to French.

The good point is I got to prepare half of tomorrow's class with the kids (I'll probably have them do some coloring for the occasion too, at the end of their exercise pages) and because my teens class is watching a movie on Thursday I have until next week to prepare their next activity. Yay for that!
On top of that, I almost finished the planning for my SBB fic, meaning I'll be able to focus the writing part soon, so I can have a finished first draft for the due date in...March, I believe? I need to check that out again.
