On the list of changes: Compass-shaped sensors because when you’re being purposefully ass-backward you don’t do it halfway.

(But, also on the list of changes: Headcanon that the Shadowhunters who live outside of Idris are the ones coming up with most modern inventions used by other Hunters.)

Actually, Alternate Canon that Civilians in Idris aren’t as conservative as Shadowhunter but I don’t want to spoil my full worldbuilding
