So from what I’ve seen of the Star Wars fandom so far, it seems to be commonly accepted that Chewie is Han’s BFF and that’s pretty neat, but seeing as Chewbacca is canonically a grown ass adult by the time Hans like six (ish, going by his approx age difference with Anakin) I have a proposition for you:

Accidental Dad Chewbacca

In which Chewie spends a day with Han and realizes the man is 100% incapable of not running into trouble everywhere he goes and decides to adopt him right then and there no matter what Han says (Han glowers for a day but secretly loves the idea of having a dad, even if he’s hairier than he used to be in Han’s kid fantasies)
