Review: Annie (2014)

So today, thanks to the miracle of Netflix, I discovered the 2014 movie Annie, starring Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhané Wallis in the two main roles.
The movie was on my radar when it came out, I remember, and I’ve been meaning to watch it on and off since then but never got around to it. Then I talked about Quvenzhané with @julinettewrites the other day and decided to check whether the film was available for streaming. It was, and I proceeded to spend an enjoyable couple of hours.
